  7. INFORMATION:   Just so it is clear, the purpose of translation mode is 
  8.                to allow the Western Digital controller to conform to the
  9.                systems that have a 1024 cylinder limitation.  This
  10.                limitiation is imposed by the way the PC BIOS reads in
  11.                the partition information from the master boot record on 
  12.                the drive.
